A small community of South Africans have bought and renovated remarkable properties in the French countryside. Mooi: Frankryk will highlight their struggles and triumphs during these journeys, as Anet Pienaar-Vosloo visits them to discuss their new homes, their lives and their experiences.

The show introduces viewers to the fairytale world of owning a chateau in France, but also remind them of the indomitable spirit South Africans have that lets them overcome challenges to carve out their own private paradise.
